The smile on your face will be something that I won’t forget and I won’t forget about how you made me laugh every day. It is with sadness that the school says goodbye to a very special man who will always have a warm place in our school’s heart.

As your eyes fill with tears, my heart aches at the thought of losing you. But as you walk out the door for the last time, all I feel is pride and admiration for what you have achieved.

You had so many great qualities about you, but if I had to narrow it down to just one, I would say that you knew how to be kind while making everyone laugh and have fun.

You have inspired many with your kindness and inspired many others with your belief in them, and we owe you a debt of gratitude for all that you have done. The world is far less perfect without you. Rest in peace.

I feel honoured that I got to witness such a great headteacher first hand in my school. I will always remember all the happy moments we shared together.

You took a group of unruly bullies that were unable to see greatness from anyone other than themselves, and with patience and time they became some of the most amazing leaders this school has ever seen. I look forward to seeing you on the other side.

Your lessons were fun, yet educational at the same time. You didn’t just teach us in a classroom, but showed us through good example on how we can become better people if we just try a little bit each and every day.

It’s not going to be easy to replace you but rest assured that we will try. In the meantime, enjoy the time spent with your husband and go fishing as much as possible, knowing that we will do our job just as well without you.

We will cherish the memories we shared with him and remember his generosity, humour and endless support. Good bye Mike, you will be missed.

Although will go on without him his memory will forever live within us all and we will never forget the work he did for this school.

Time waits for no man and neither do I. Whilst an appropriate cliché, time waits for no man, can I also say that time flies? I held this position with an open heart and a closed mouth. However, because of both events, my tenure here is over. It’s been a pleasure working alongside you all either working side by side or across from.

People say you go to work to do a job. But I believe it’s much more than that. A job is where you meet people. People who become your family. A family who become your legacy. And a legacy that will live on FOREVER!!

We have received many eulogies and goodbyes from students, parents, staff and former colleagues, but this is the only one that moved me to tears. The world lost a beautiful soul.
